Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Frontier AI Corporation collects, uses, and protects personal information when you visit atherna.ai, request a demo, or get in touch. It covers our website and marketing. For how Atherna handles the documents and data inside the product, see our Security page.

1. Information we collect

We collect information in three ways: what you give us, what we collect automatically, and what we receive from trusted third parties.

Information you give us

When you book a demo, contact us, apply for a role, or email us, we collect the details you provide.

  • Demo and contact requests: your name, work email, organization, role, and the contents of your message.
  • Email and job applications: anything you choose to send us.
  • Please do not include confidential, privileged, or client matter information in demo or contact forms.

Information we collect automatically

When you visit atherna.ai, we and our analytics and advertising partners collect technical information through cookies and similar technologies.

  • Device and browser type, operating system, and language.
  • IP address and approximate location.
  • Pages viewed, links clicked, time on page, and the website or advertisement that referred you.

Information from third parties

We may receive limited business contact information from advertising and data providers to help us reach relevant audiences and measure our campaigns.

2. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your demo request or inquiry and route you to the right team.
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve our website.
  • Send information you ask for and, where permitted, occasional updates about Atherna. You can opt out at any time.
  • Measure, analyze, and improve our marketing and advertising.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
  • Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Where the law requires a legal basis, such as in the UK and EU, we rely on your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and promoting Atherna, and compliance with our legal obligations.

3. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies for three purposes: to make the site work, to understand how it is used, and to measure our advertising.

  • Essential cookies keep the site secure and functioning.
  • Analytics cookies, including Google Analytics, help us understand which pages and content are useful.
  • Advertising cookies and pixels, including the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, the LinkedIn Insight Tag, and Google Ads, help us measure campaigns and show relevant ads on those platforms.

You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings and, where we display one, our cookie banner. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only as described here:

  • Service providers who work on our behalf, such as hosting, email delivery, analytics, advertising, and customer-relationship management, under contracts that limit how they may use it.
  • Advertising and analytics partners, as described in the cookies section, to measure and deliver our marketing.
  • Legal and safety reasons, such as complying with law, responding to lawful requests, or protecting our rights, our users, and the public.
  • Business transfers, if Atherna is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Some advertising activity, such as the use of advertising cookies, may be considered a sale or sharing of personal information under certain US state laws. Where that applies, you can opt out as described below.

5. International data transfers

Atherna operates across the United States, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, and India, and your information may be processed in any of these locations. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we use appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, to protect it.

6. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, or for as long as the law requires. We keep demo and contact details while we are in touch with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete or anonymize them.

How Atherna handles the documents and data inside the product is governed separately. Customer matter data is never retained beyond your session or used to train models. See our Security page and Data Processing Addendum.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over your personal information:

  • Access a copy of the information we hold about you.
  • Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Delete your information.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing, including direct marketing.
  • Receive your information in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent where we rely on it.
  • Opt out of targeted advertising, or the sale or sharing of your information, under US state laws.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@atherna.ai. We will respond within the time the law requires, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising them. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

8. Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and at rest and access controls. You can read more about our security program on our Security page. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's privacy

Atherna is a business product and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of the page, and we will give more prominent notice of material changes. Your continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
